Where Strength, Community, and Opportunity Come Together
Our story
The story of D'Luxe Beauty Studio begins long before the salon opened. It stems from the work of the JL Foundation For Children and Community, founded by Jindra and Laurent to support families facing some of life's most difficult moments and to help them build pathways to stability, dignity, and hope.
Through this work, they met an extraordinary group of mothers connected to AFCC – Aid to Families of Children with Cancer. These women had to leave traditional jobs to care for their children, but they never stopped looking for ways to build a better future for their families.
Together, they created an opportunity. These mothers participated in an intensive four-month cosmetology training program. They learned new skills while continuing to care for their children, demonstrating determination, commitment, and strength in the face of very difficult circumstances.
D'Luxe Beauty Studio was born to offer something that traditional jobs could not provide: flexibility, mutual support, dignity, and the possibility of generating income while still being present for their children.
